Caribou at Babylon

Tonight Caribou will be performing at Babylon nightclub. It is hard to determine what exactly might be played, because Caribou has never stuck to one distinct genre. On Dan Snaith's (his real name) newest album, Andorra, he explores 60's pop and psychedelia, with light flirting vocals. The album has quickly become one of my favorites and am excited to go see them tonight. The show starts at 9 pm with openers the Born Ruffians. If I end up getting to the show, I will have pics and hopefully some more news tomorrow.

Psychedelic Rock in Ottawa

So I didn't think that I would start a blog one day, and then the same night find an amazing band to write about. At the Rainbow Room last night I caught a performance by local rockers the Watters Brothers Band. Let me tell you these guys played for two and a half hours!!! I will be definitely be keeping tabs on these guys during my stay here. Check out their myspace here.

New post

I haven't written anything new in quite a while, but that might be because I was so busy back home. Every time that I sat, laid, or just plopped in front of my computer I never got a chance to write anything. That's going to change though, since I am now living in Ottawa by myself. Yes that is right. Anyways this blog is still going to be about the same kind of thing, but I think I am going to switch it up a bit. I'll keep on posting, but it won't have any cohesive message or subject. So just keep reading and hopefully you might enjoy it.
